I have been looking around these forums, and others, I am trying to find out why my ram is running at 1280 7-7-7-20-1T, I have my cpu oc at 240MHz x15.5(locked) and vcore at 1.45. (cpu is athlon x3 445). HT link at x9. I have tried to set up this memory but the bios on the mobo are not like anything I have read, anywhere. Any help is much appreciated. My performance is good but I would like to see what it is with the ram where it should be.

The easiest method is to download the manual for your mainboard and consult the memory options in the BIOS listing.

In the BIOS under Advanced and in the JumperFree Configuration area, there is a Memory Clock Mode setting. Set it to Manual. A new option called MemClock Value should open. Select 667MHz. Once you've done that, save and exit. When you boot back up, your memory should be running at (240x6.67=1600.8MHz).

If you weren't overclocking the processor, you would choose the 800MHz setting to get your memory to run at 1600MHz.

Ok I have found that I can't run at 240MHz when I do a OCCT stress test it runs for about 2 min and then the computer resets. also when I run the ram above 800MHz my steps go up to 11-11-11-30. not sure what that all means.
