Tv Out Help!

Ok i'm not gonna get into a lot of details here cuz i don't think it will help at all But Lets just say i have a brand new flat screen tv hooked up to my nvidia 7600 video card the drivers are all updated on the video card but here is the problem it seems that i cant get my tv to display any thing higher than 1024 by 768 resolution is there anyway to change it so it can be higher? or so that i can display my monitor on my pc with a higher resolution and the tv with a different resolution?

i believe if u download ntune there is an option for TV setup
