Some keys don’t work on my keyboard

I have a Wireless Optical Desktop 3000 1.0 USB set, and I have a problem with the keyboard. It does not register strikes on some keys, but if I keep pressing them long enough they will start responding. Num keypad works fine, but any other key could stop working at any time.
I’ve changed the batteries, tried changing position of the transmitter, I’ve installed IntelliType and went through troubleshooting, tested it on different computers and OS, but nothing helps. I also have a Trust wireless optical desk set DS-3200 and it works fine, so I guess that there is no signal interference from other devices.
I’ve got this thing abroad, so returning it is not an option.
So, does anyone have any advice other than throw it to trash?

throw it in the trash and buy a new one... when a keyboard cost £100 it was worth cleaning, it aint no more.

See if you can take it apart and look around, there might be something in there stopping those keys from registering or making contact. Have had this problem before. Goodluck! And if not then buy a new one.

I've taken it apart and cleaned it with alcohol, and now its working. :bounce:
I think the problem might be caused by contact rubber, it was misplaced.
Thx for help JDV28.
