I've just finished assembly of a system based on Asus P6T motherboard.

I have a single sata hard drive and a single sata dvd burner.

I want to be able to add later another two hard drives and a blue ray burner.

Can I initially use the sata ports labeled 5 and 6 on the board for the hard drive and dvd burner I'm starting with? Then, later use some of the other sata ports to add the other devices?

I want to use 5 and 6 initially because they are the only two pointing up from the board. The other sata ports are coming out the side on risers.

Oh, yes that's OK. Consider your cable routing though. Those other sockets can be pretty handy from the OTHER side of the case, depending on your case of course.
