Ok...i have a home built gaming system...it runs pretty good it has 8gb of high ram and a EAH4870 asus gaming graphics card that is crossfire ready...a few days ago we had the power flicker on and off in the house and when i went to turn my compouter back on it was dead...we had a 700 watt psu and when my dad realized it was dead we went and bought a 970 watt one. the computer runs now but it cant connect to my lcd tv through hdmi...we have an hdmi adapter and i just use my tv as a monitor and the screen will show vista booting up but will not display any of the desktop...we think it may be the graphics card not only beacuse it wont show the desktop but by the time we start the cold computer to the time its booted the graphics card puts out mega heat...also the desktop works in safe mode!!! i dont know why it does in safe mode only but for normal mode the tv just says no signal...we tried vga connection too and same thing...any and all ideas would help thankyou and let me know if you have any question :-)
