Hi, i have been looking for a decent cooler for a Phenom 2 x4 955, i´ve seen the Gigabyte G-Power 2 Pro i like it very much for desing and for compatibility issues with my Mobo (Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DS5)
It seems that fits perfectly because of the north bridge heatsink, the orientation of the fan is pretty cool and it makes sense in order to ventilate the north bridge.
What do you think about that cooler , it will be enought even if it´s manufactures does not recommend it ?
I actually have a Gigabyte power g-lite on my Athlon 64 X2 5000+, will i be able to use this cooler to the phenom also?

I don´t want to spend much money, i´m searching for best performance-quality-price balance

Well i cannot see it because i didn´t try it. for that i am asking , in order to see if it´s a good cooler for that specs.
Althought i know it will fit on my Mobo i´m not sure if it will heat down my phenom proccesor, and what about my actual cooler G-power lite to use with the Phenom?
