hey guys im having problem putting my pc all back together. I added a fan controller, and nothing works anymore.

when i turn it on, the only thing that lights up is the ram led and psu switch lights up (psu fan led doesnt light up though). Everything else wont start. cpu led doesnt light up the power led wont light up. the cpu cooler doesnt turn on. and also all the other fans wont turn on. gpu wont turn on which means monitor is black.

what could be the problem?

my specs are:

haf 932
gigabyte ex58 ud4p
i7 920
corsair dominator 3x2gb 1600mhz
cooler master v8 cpu cooler
gtx 275
ocz gamexstrem 850w psu

Have you checked all plugs and cables for loose connection?

i didnt touch any of the psu connectors to the mobo or graphic cards.. the only thing i took out was the molex connector to the front/side/top fans. i hooked it all up on the controller then hooked up the fan controller to the psu

Have you tried disconnecting the fan controller from the system and turn it on?

Try another PSU. Borrow from your neighbors. ;)

It cold also be the molex is grounding somehow, but it definately sounds like a short circuit somewhere

Unplug everything except 1 stick of RAM, your video card, processor, PSU, and heatsink, and see if it works, if it does, then something you unplugged is either grounding out or bad.

Are you sure you tried to push in ALL the power connectors and cables.... IDE/SATA, etc ? On the board and on the devises themselves.

And how does the fan controller get it's power ? Molex connector or usb connector.....

When doing the work, did you disconnect the power cord from the wall? If not, do that - or unplug that cord from the back of the PSU, and leave it disconnected for 3 to 5 minutes. Then plug back in and try the front power button.

I've had odd cases where my PC seems absolutely dead - won't respond to the front pushbutton at all. But after being unplugged long enough for all the PSU output to decay to nothing, it stars up just fine. I hypothesize it somehow gets its BIOS confused in the portion that is still live end monitoring signals to start up again.
