Hi:

Read a lot on your site and you guys seem to have a clue so here is a question.

currently run a 3 monitor sys. and want to add an hd tv.

can run 2 monitors with nvdia 6150 from mobo.

can run 2 from ati 4850

the system runs perfectly with 3 monitors

QUESTION: want to run a hdtv through the dvi to hdmi adaptor output as monitor 4, and i'm about to buy an 30 ft hdmi to hdmi cable so i can stream video off the net on the tv..........will the adaptor carry the sound? i know hdmi by itself will carry sound but i am concerned about the adaptor........saw a post on this site that indicated that it would work but.......yknow

because ati 4850 is an advanced card i hope that it will do what i want. by the way can you recommend a cable too?

25 to 30 ft cable as the hdtv is in another room

thanks!

Yes the adapter should work. especially the one that should'vve came with the GPU. I just use a gerneric HDMI cable i get from the computer shops. I really don't need to spend extra $ just to get a "nicer" monster cable.

This one should work fine, just like those expensive ones (IMO anyways) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6812186030

HDMI cables tend to lose their signal when getting to the 50-55FT range. Good luck!
