Why don't you get the newer 785G Chipset motherboards instead especially the AM3 versions that use DDR3 memory like these since the Phenom II X4 945 is a AM3 processor. Also the 95 watt (newer stepping model) TDP version is now the same price. It uses less power.

Be sure to check if it will support the CPU though at the manufacturers website.
Right of the bat that Gigabyte micro ATX board supported both versions(95watt and older 125 watt TDP) of the Phenom II X4 945

the mb needs to be $70 and down because of my current budget, and as for the cpu I heard the new 95w runs hotter and doesn't have virtualization tech

Well if you're looking for the ones that will use cheaper DDR2 RAM and a bit slower here are some that are less expensive using the newer 785G chipset. You can check on these.
This one is $10 more than your budget at $80.It only supports the 125 watt version of the 945 so far.

Also this one is $80 but there is a $10 rebate. It says it support up to 140 watt TDP Phenom II CPU's.I couldn't find out which ones though on their CPU support list as this motherboard was just introduced
