I wouldn't recommend spending the extra money on the 4890. I would buy the 4870 which is much more cheaper and also since the 4890 is just an OC 4870. Othrwise you could buy 2 4770's.

i planned on upgrading to a second 4890 in a few months.
what would be better 2 4890 or 4770? Im not very savy when it comes to dual gpu performance gains.

I've never heard of Xclio, so I wouldn't trust them powering my expensive PC. Get a Corsair, one of the best companies around.

One 4890 is great, I would wait for a 4770 1GB version (if one's coming out) before running CF with them.

Two 4890s would outperform two 4870s.

Don't waste money on Vista, the Windows 7 RC comes out in a few hours, download that and save yourself some cash. It's good until March 2010 before you have to buy it.

I'm not sure on Caviar SEs, but I'm pretty sure that Caviar Blacks are the faster ones.

Well I guess you could save some cash there by going with better value components...
CPU+ Mobo combo...You would need the 790FX only if you are planning for extreme overclock...As you are just planning for a slight overclock, the 790X is more than suffice...

Graphics card - Same 4890 but a better company with better warranty...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150359

Case - Change the case to any of these...Both would do a great job...and are highly rated...

PSU - You wont need a 850W PSU and here is a better 750W PSU that is more than suffice even for a 4890 crossfire with a overclocked CPU...Corsair 750TX
This PSU is one of the Top Rated and a very high quality PSU...

Saving all those money, get a fast high rated 640GB HDD for about $35 more...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319

Making these changes would significantly improve the system quality...
And did you forget the CPU cooler?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233003

But seems that AMD has included a improved version of the stock cooler with the P II 955...So if you are planning for a slight overclock, then it should be suffice...If want to push the CPU more, then get the Xig...

Just remove any hardware u dun need or have that u wish to reuse from this config hehe
