I bought this mother board and I have a question about fan control with my dual fan CPU cooler (cooler master huyper 212 plus w/ 2 fans) for my I5 system. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to manually set the sys fan 2 to a higher rpm. I tried downloandng the gigabyte easytune 6 utility but for some reason it doesn't want to load. Does anyone know of a program or a way that I can control the speed of my fans individually that are plugged directly into the mother board?

This is a piece from GB tech regarding the socket 775 headers - likely they haven't changed much:

SYS_FAN1 and PWR_FAN are three pin socket with fixed full speed fan. No controlled rotation at all from the mobo. Rotation feedback also monitored via pin 3 only for BIOS alarm purpose."

Yes, I have uninstalled the easy tune 6 a few times and then re-installed. Once I click on the icon or select it from the programs list it will not load from there which is why I was wondering what other programs are out there. I tried the speedfan application, but that did not allow me to control the fan speed manually. The CPU and System Fan 2 seem to run at completely different speeds which I understand why, but I need to be able have them both un at the same speed variably depending on what the CPU core temp is. Any other ideas? thx for the response.

Thank you very much. That helps. I should be able to just go into the BIOS and set the PWM controller instead of leaving at auto correct?
