Hey I just got my new PC :D , its a Bday present from my parents ...

i was wondering if anyone would tell me how could i overclock my intel Quad 9550 2.83 Ghz , In a simple way cause i don't have any Experience in overclocking ... and if I can also overclock MY gpu ??

My pc specs :

MOBO : MSI P45-8D ( i don't plan on doing Crossfire ) it has one PCIE x16
CPU : quad 9550
PSU : Thermaltake 650 watt tough power
GPU : ATI hd 4850 x2 2gb DDR3
Ram : 4 gb DDR2 800Mhz DBT GIEL
Case : Ez cool with 2 fans + 1 25cm Fan

Note : my Mobo sucks with overclocking RAM :( .. and if anyone could tell me if its good

Yes, You can oc also your gpu. Before you start oc your cpu, you should read more at least to have an idea.

If you are going to overclock, you should know something about thermal management. And I am guessing that you are using the stock Intel cooler. If so, you will need a better cooler.

Google something like "overclock MSI P45-8D" for ideas on how to OC your particular motherboard.

And keep in mind that these are intended as guides, not cookbooks. There's so much variation in components and setups, that your results will certainly differ from anyone else.
