If i was to build the cheapest pc ever (No OS, keyboard etc) while being able to play crysis with very high settings what do you think the price will be around (rough estimate)?
Try and be reasonable for e.g. there was a 20gb harddrive and a 320gb harddrive, choose the one that you think everyday gamer will need.

Well, your going to need space for games to be downloaded, so 320gb.

some kind of hdd that will be fast on the read and writing.

The best performance for a cheap rig is $500 but, it wont run everything on high.

You'll need a beefy computer for that on crysis.

a $500 rig will run anygame( not including the multithreaded games ) on high and not crysis.

Whats your Budget?

You need a good graphics card to run crysis...since almost all the new ones can run it (even with some trouble still) you can get a decent price/performance. Radeon 4770 is only $99-109. A Core 2 Duo chip can run crysis really good also...some may not need OC...and some will need a slight bump (i.e. E5200). A good speed for crysis is 3.0GHz...the RAM is what you really need to overclock!! And lastly, you will need a good mobo. I suggest Gigabyte mobos (G31 series) are very well balanced and offer good OC's ^_^

If he can get a 7750 kuma black combo with the board + the dual 4770's then yes, it will be a good computer but, theres no combo's out for a 7750 + a board for the 4770's so you'll be spending just enough money as you would on a regular x3 720be...
