2nd choice. You have to look for am3 socket motherboard.
What is psu from the 2nd choice?

------------------------------ Intel i7 920, Gigabyte X58-DS4, 3x1 Corsair DDR3 1333, XFX 260 GTX
Samsung 750Gb F1,Samsung DVD-rw, Hiper Type-M 880W, Coolermaster HAF 932, Logitech Z-5500

the 2nd choice is better, providing that PSU is decent.

and if you want to save a bit of energy, the 4200 IGP on the 785G chipset is about as powerful as a 9500GT so you could probably use it with most games for medium settings at 1440x900.

I don't suggest you to buy it. Try Corsair, OCZ, Antec, etc.

OCZ would be my option. Don't get me wrong, Corsair is good.

OCz FTW in that arguement but personally I would go with an antec, personally I would go with your first rig.

does this psu have 8 pin connector for cpu 'cause that mobo requires 8 pin.

in the pic it shows that there is a 8pin ? is it the cpu connector?
