what's a good idling temp
what's a good on load temp

i overclocked my phenom II x2 555 BE from 3.2 to 4.0 now and unlocked the 3rd core (4th one malfunctions)
now im getting around 37 idling and 47 on load
should i lower my speed to get lower temps?
or are these fine? any better recommendations?
should i overclock more?

Those temps are good if you're using the stock cooler.

eh......forgot to mention i just upgraded my stock cooler to this
CM Hyper 212

stock cooler was terrible, didn't bother overclocking, tried but temps were insane
temps were at 40+ idle at stock speed........
my video card was 40+ idling along with it.......
after i changed to my new aftermarket cooler
my video card temps dropped below 40 idling

Adding more case fans/airflow will dramtically drop your overall temps more.
A front intake and rear exhaust is bare minimum set-up for decent airflow.
Get something in the front as i assume you only have a rear exhaust.
