Three beeps and no display on the monitor

i just built an entire computer from the ground up i have in the computer right now an;
intell mother board with a core 2 duo processeur,(sp) i also have an 80 GB hard drive
in it as well i have no RAM at all in it at this moment.
when i start the computer up all of the fans kick on and then right after start up i have 3 beeps in succession, and i have nothing on the monitior,
i checked the processeur and everthing is compatible, but there is no display and only sound is the three beeps.
i really need help this is bugging me.
any help is appreciated

You're computer isn't going to post with no RAM. Check the motherboard manual to see what 3 beeps mean, but I'm willing to bet it means "no RAM installed".

dang do i feel stupid i thought that you could see a screen display with no ram i am ust getting used to this computer stuff and i appreciate this thank you
