I'm looking to buy a Video card for my W3644 but im wondering if the on-board video card will interfere with an external one? and my budget is about 80-90 bucks any suggestion's if it's even possible?

What do you expect to play? it is possible you could run simple titles like the source games...other than that you have a huge cpu bottleneck :(

And you can only run an 8x pcie card...how that will add to the bottleneck im not sure but its not going to help...i suggest you save a few hundred more dollars and start from scratch on a gaming pc...

so should i upgrade my video card or my CPU?
i can play CSS half life ECT gunz online, LEft for dead and COD4 without much lag at all but im looking to go high detail on l4d cuz l4d sometimes fps lag's on important parts when the horde's attack and stuff is that due to the graphic's card or the cpu?

Yes most of those titles scale very well cpu wise especially cod4...im not sure on a cpu upgrade since your board will only support another single core cpu...i would go for a 70$ price range gpu atm....probably a 4670...you could google some benchmarks on your cpu and see if people using your cpu and a similar or stronger graphics card are being cpu limited...if not than the 4670 would be a good upgrade...

i was recommended www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=n82e16814102805 and wouldn't a x64 x2 work since it's aAM2 socket?

Yeah nevermind i thought you had a different socket type...i need you to either post the exact specs on the side of your psu or take a picture of it before we can recommend a gpu and cpu upgrade...

I would upgrade my gpu to the best i could first....if you have to buy a psu you will need to use a full 100$ to get a decent balance on gpu with psu...after that you could upgrade to any of the cpus on this page for a decent boost...keep in mind your system won't have much of a future with new game releases even with a cpu upgrade....

You would most likely see the best results from a gpu upgrade...what are you running right now? you aren't running l4d on a 6150 se are you? are you using the intergrated gpu?

Go ahead and post your psu specs and we can base the gpu choice off of that....

You will need to upgrade to 2gbs of ram with the gpu upgrade...its going to help out alot...just buy a single 2gb stick of ddr2...that shouldn't cost you more than 30$...

Like i said you need to list the specs or take a picture as that page and google reveals no psu specs....just open the side of the case and list it all...

There you go...29$ ain't bad for 2gbs and that will be more than enough for your needs...so get back to us on those psu specs and we can work from there...

Im finding conflicting info on your system but i believe you have a pcie 16x slot...so...

I would either go for a 4670 or 9600gso...your psu should run those just fine..

You are going to have to give it sometime for others to respond...im not sure on which 9600 gso to purchase as that card has so many damn configurations it gives me a headache...if you can find one of those that overclocks well it is actually a little bit better than a 4670...but im sure the 4670 could overclock comparably and than there pretty much equal

and no the 9400gt can not game...yeah it can run some games but its not meant for gaming..even the light gaming you are doing...

i think you have to go into bios and change over to pci-express and turn off the onboard video chipset
