Asus m2ne with amd phenom ii x2 555

hey guys my system specs are
asus m2ne
amd athlon 64 x2 4000+
corsair ddr2 3gb ram xms2
true 500 watt power suply
sapphire HD 5770 gfx

now i am upgrading my cpu to amd phenom ii x2 555 BE,
please suggent me how to make the full out of my cpu and mobo.

  1. The Phenom II 555 is an AM3 socket CPU. your motherboard only supports AM2 socket CPUs, therefore you need a new motherboard to run your 555.

    Sorry..I looked up the wrong motherboard. :cry:

    simon12 is correct. :sol:

    Just make sure that you are on the correct BIOS version...3001 before you install the 555.:D
