im doing my first build, its an i7. i was just wondering if the sata power connecters from my 750w have to hook up to devices in order, or if i can use them however i wish. thanks

All they do is provide power to devices. It doesn't matter which connector is used first.

The only order that matters is the data cables. The drives will appear to the BIOS and the OS in whatever order the data cables are connected to the motherboard sockets.
