Ok i finished my FIRST custom build, with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103849
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131655R
and 4GBs of RAM. (before this I was rocking a DELL 4600 with 3GBs of RAM)
Anyway, I don't know how to even start overclocking, but i want it to be around 3.6GHz or what ever?? if you need to know more feel free to ask question.
I also have the Motherboards DVD that has programs that can overclock, but i dont want to screw up my CPU.
Final question: how do i overclock my CPU.
Any suggestions, questions, and comments are welcome.

Hi.

List all the specs of your rig. Mobo (bad choice an open box IMO), CPU (1090T), RAM, CPU, case, cooler, PSU.... all that info is necessary know before start to overclock.

The basic things that you need disable in your BIOS are this:

1- C1E support
2- Turbo core
3- Cool'n'quite

After that, and the rig's specs list, read this guide: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/258573-29-black-edition-overclock-raising-multiplier-guide

If you have any further question, let me know.

Cooler as in CPU cooler? Cause im looking into a V8 by coolermaster.
(i kinda like coolermaster if you had not notice by now).
but if your talking about fans in the case i have 2X200mm and 3X120mm fans.

Forget the V8 or V10, those are crap cooler and very expensive for low performance.

Hyper 212+ is a basic but good cooler, but if you want something better, got with Titan Fenrir, Thermalright Archon, Thermalright Silver Arrow or Nocuta NH-D14. The cooler depends of your budget and case, be sure that fit before buy it.
