Will be upgrading my Video cards soon(currently using 8800GT in sli). Looking for recommendations. I run a 24" monitor, and would obviously like to run my games in the highest res. possible. Was thinking of a GTX285, but would like some recommendations. I usually upgrade every 1-2 years.

I have a question. What country do you live in?
I have no idea where a GTX 285 would sell for more than $500, so this is kind of confusing.

The GTX275 is only a little slower than the GTX285 but a fair bit cheaper:

My suggestion: Go for one GTX275 and see how it runs, and keep a 8800 for PhysX.
If the single card is not enough, go SLI, you can get two for under $500 US without looking too hard.
Of course I am assuming you are from the US, your MB is triple card capable and the system you are upgrading is the one in your 'member configuration'.
