i have 9 31GB free space in my hard disk partician how do i use this free space

I assume you mean 931Gb from a 1TB partition. Use it anyway you like, video, audio photos, data etc.
Depending on what you do with your pc. Video or music video can use up space very quickly, especialy HD video, from recorded tv programs your camcorder or whatever.
