hi

my specs are :

quad core 9550
ram corsair 6gb
hitachi 750gb
sapphire hd4830
vista ultimate 64bit

i update my graphics drivers to catalyst 9.5 everything install ok but after the windows loading bar i get a black screen and my monitor goes into sleep mode HELP !!

Well I had that problem when I installed CCC 9.4, the bad thing is I had to reformat the whole computer for it to work again :(

eh, that's drastic... ever try Driver Sweeper first? Had the same problem with installing Nvidia 185 WHQL drivers, and i got the black screen too... What fixed it was to get rid of the old drivers using Driver Sweeper before installing the new drivers.

Im getting box out as i call them, the tool bar will blink out and be replaced with a black area when changing pages. Its the drivers that are doing it there is no question about that. When you think of the vast aray of differant configurations possable of hardware its a wonder that both companies do as well as they do. I havent had issues like this for a while now. and dont think it a bad enough problem to worry about, games play great which is my main worry so no harm no foul i say.

Try using safemode to go back to 9.3. I've avoided the two newest ones parly out of laziness and partly because they seem to cause more issues than fix.
