Dmark06 score good?

Hey guys i was just benchmarking my computer and wondering if its any good!
I got the score 16265...be honest hahah and if its bad why so i have
Phenom II x4 3.6ghz(OC'ed)
XFX GTX284
OCZ 4 gb ram 1066mhz
2x500GB WD hd Raid with 32 mb cache
750W psu
I ran the test at 1440x900 res

I just did benchmark again at 640 x 480 and got 17509 so i jumped alot with new res ha

I don't rely on 3dmark that much. It tends to favor Nvidia cards alot. It has no relevance on your experience with games because some games favor one brand over another. Or some favor quad cores over dual cores, etc.

Honestly if you want to compare your score, keep the settings default and compare with other individuals. So run it at the 1280x1024, I think it is in the free version. I get just over 18,000 with my system. However, I have a 4870 1GB card OCed. My buddy has a VERY similar system but has a GTX285 and scores 20,000. However, in the FarCry2 benchmark we run pretty even.

By the way.. that looks like a pretty sweet system you have there! I haven't really looked much into the Phenom II's since the i7 is top dog. But from what I hear the price/performance is awesome.

Thanks for compliment man! i made i typo i ment to put gtx285. And when i get hjome ill run the test at 1280x1024 and then post the numbers. i really want to get 18000 lol

Alright i did it on default res an i got 16460...god my computer sucks! what am i doing wrong? i thought my *** is GOOD!

^Your PC if perfectly awesome. DUDE, I have an i7 OCed to 4GHz. It's going to rock the hot totty on 3dMark's CPU test. My ATI video card doesn't play nice with 3dMark though But if I run the OpenGL test in Cinebench, I run circles around my buddies GTX285. Every test favors different hardware. Don't beat yourself up over it. You have a great system. You don't play a game called 3Dmark06 do you? What games DO you play?

I like when ppl say my *** is good haha makes me feel like for my first build i did a good job haha And i play GTA4 L4D Rainbow 6 las vegas and soon im going to install Far cry 2...The only thing im picky about with my computer is my boottime...i count the number of loading bars i get and right now i get 6! i want less! haha i wanna boot in under 10 seconds haah

yes its vista haha only because i have a fast computer and it btr be able to run the latest *** haha and alright thanks haha ill stop complaining
