Embarrasing question.... LED hook up

I have a new case (this is my first build) which has two led light connections.
Where do I connect these?
I think I have everything else lined up including the polarity on all my connections.

Maybe a pic of the connector? the short answer is... your PSU.

Yeah, if it uses the typical 4 pin molex connectors then hook up direct to PSU. If instead of ambient lighting it is the power and hard drive activity LEDs, look at the motherboard manual to see which positions on the front panel pin header they plug into. If you get the polarity reversed it will cause no harm, just flip it around 180'.

oh yeah? My MOBO started smoking and sparking when I did that.

Well I found out what it was. There were two hidden cables that were tucked in and they connect to a small board at the base of the case (that rhymes!). That board hooks up to the psu through a 4 molex. Vista is now installing so I think everything is fine.

*facepalm* Always look for ALL of the cords before installing anything into the tower.

I agree. I thought I had everything out. I sat there and looked for every cable. How those cables got tucked back there is beyond my understanding. I think for my first build ever it's going pretty smooth.
