Does anyone know if the greatly increasing the HyperTransport speed greatly increase performance or FPS? I have a BE and was wondering if I up'ed the HT Link about 500Mhz will it offer a corresponding increase in performance?

In most cases, it won't make a whole lot of difference, honestly. You could always try it and see though :)

the HT only really needs to be raised if your using three or four GPU's in the build, otherwise it will make little difference.

Seems like there is an increase in DMC4 I got an average increase of 3 FPS. Although nothing ground breaking, but something nevertheless!!! :D

Thanks mates!! :D I was wondering if you know of any article or review that explains how HypTrans affects overall system performance on a mainstream computer.. i.e.: X2 7750 BE, HD4670, 4GB ram, MSI 780G-M. :D

It won't help much. The HyperTransport bus already offers more than enough bandwidth. HyperTransport offers 16 GB/s bandwidth. The PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot connecting your GPU only offeres 8 GB/s. The 4670 doesn't even need the full 8 GB/s because it's not a high-end card.

You're better off using the unlocked multiplier on your CPU to get the best performance.
