Does anyone know if the greatly increasing the HyperTransport speed greatly increase performance or FPS? I have a BE and was wondering if I up'ed the HT Link about 500Mhz will it offer a corresponding increase in performance?
Thanks mates!! I was wondering if you know of any article or review that explains how HypTrans affects overall system performance on a mainstream computer.. i.e.: X2 7750 BE, HD4670, 4GB ram, MSI 780G-M.

It won't help much. The HyperTransport bus already offers more than enough bandwidth. HyperTransport offers 16 GB/s bandwidth. The PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot connecting your GPU only offeres 8 GB/s. The 4670 doesn't even need the full 8 GB/s because it's not a high-end card.
You're better off using the unlocked multiplier on your CPU to get the best performance.
