Okay so my problem (its major) is that I cannot access the settings for my new Linksys WRT120N Wi-Fi Router because when I type "192.168.1.1" in the address bar, it brings up the settings for my Versalink Wireless Gateway (modem). The modem is connected to a phone jack (but gets dsl), and has a wireless antenna (disabled) and 4 LAN ports. The problem seems to be that the Wireless router must be hooked up to the modem, which consequently seems to also be a sort of router in itself, so when I try to access the settings for the new router, It always brings up settings for the modem.

Your feedback and help is greatly appreciated, THANKS!

The modem is a router.

Since you only asked about getting access to the new router, just hook a PC up to that router only so you can play with the settings. Make sure you change the IP address, then you can access it. So say give it a 192.168.1.50 address.
