Hello,
I have just recently recieved an SSD as a gift and I am currently running win 7 on a 750gb HDD, but I woul like to move anything that requires booting, or OS files to the 64GB SSD.

Thanks,

No offense Mark, I was looking for more of a step-by-step answer. Thanks for the info though!

Has anyone else had experience with this that can help me?

I am having the exact same scenario (same size original HDD and SSD is 60GB lol). I definitely can't fit all my games on the SSD and was wondering in addition to the original posters questions if it's better to keep the OS on the secondary drive or to just to have it partitioned without an OS. And in this case can games/apps still be installed to it?

So whats you question?
If you are looking for permision than yes go ahead.....lol jk..

Do a clean install of the OS on the SSD
Install all programs on the SSD that you use most of the time.
Move your Documents folder to the HHD.

Rather than try and parrot steps by step instuctions here are some links to the steps and by doing so, give credit to the person that wrote them.
