I have 2 4850s in crossfire. which drivers provide the best performance + best stability? Currently have 9.5 but apparantly they have performance issues. (according to tweaktown) any word on how crossfire performance is affected?

9.4 is excellent

Yeah 9.3/.4 for ATI PCIe cards, but for AGP I prefer 8.4 since thats the one that actually has DXVA. (I can't get any other version to work with DXVA ;)

For crossfire, newer is usually better. I'd try 9.3-9.5 and see which works best for you (probably 9.4).

may farcry2 performance lost 5 fps going from 9.3 to the latest 9.5

I lost zero fps with 9.5, I've never had any issue with any of them to be honest. Seems everyone else does.....which amazes me.

I haven't had an issue either with any, however, I have started following the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" idea so I am still back on 9.3 on my gaming and 8.11 on my media computer.
