You Cannot Simultaneously Use Multiple USB Scanners in Win..

Have a canon i400 digital camera and a Genius Scanner
Hr6x,Both USB.What happens is that I cannot get both to
work at the same time.Get an error in device manager
stating "previous instance of the driver is in memory,code
38".Have updated drivers,didn't help.Got no help from
Knowledge base which states as a work around to use one
device at a time.Any Ideas.....
