Had dish network for 5 years and satisfied.Went to direct tv and picture
not as clear.Using an 84 in dia with projector. This was a great picture
with dish network, but i wanted the yankee games on YES.Does direct tv use
a lower resolution or is it me?Can you point me in the right direction to
confirm my problem?Thanks Ron

I know this is a very late response. Do you notice lower resolution on the
MLB channels particularly when Fox Sports Net is carrying it? If so, this is
a compression issue with Fox. It happens all over. YES games are more clear,
as are Comcast or any other channel carrying MLB TV. I have always noticed,
for example, that Fox soccer games (on their sports net) have the field
looking like a solid green blob, not like grass. Not DirecTV, as I said.
