P55 boards with SLI @ x16?

Is this true? THen it might be finally worth it..... I think its pointless getting a P55 if the SLI is limited to x8 x8.

why pcie 2.0 x8 is plenty, even the HD5870 only drops by 1% (which was within the margin of error for the benchmarks)

the only time this matters is when going quad sli/quadfire and you have to use 2 x2 cards
