I bulit this computer a while back(2.5 years ago) and there was something always wrong with my front headphone/mic jacks. When i put in any kind of imput the PC just shuts off the very second it hits the socket. I checked the wiring twice and it seems to be fine...
Thank you for any help you can give.

Similar thing happens to mine. If I even plug those cords into the motherboard it will not start. Same thing happened with my old case. I just don't use them and use the back ones instead, it looks nicer as well. Not sure the exact reason but I've heard of this problem several times.
