I will have a new mobo but it has 1 IDE port but I have a old computer with 2 IDE devices and I will add another SATA devices as mobo has one too.
What should I do?
Same as computers that hade 2 IDE ports and 4 devices installed. First try "Cable seclect" on both devices. If that does not work try - "Master" jumper on first IDE device and "Slave" on 2nd device
Prior to getting 2 SATA DVD drives, I had two IDE DVD drives configured as IDE Cable select and it worked fine.

Right, as RC said. Almost all IDE cables have connectors for 2 devices. Set both of your devices to Cable Select (CS) and plug 'em in. The new motherboard should come with a nice new IDE cable for you, most likely.
The only problem would be if you have more than 2 devices.
