Looks great...but honestly you can get x2 Radeon 4770's for $220 and you can get a 700W PSU for less... Althought the Corsair PSU is fine. You don't need to change that.

thanks for the replies! I changed it to the 640gb version. And also i read the review on the 4770's in crossfire and they are on the same level or even outperform the 4890 in some areas but i want to be able to crossfire the 4890s later and have even more power.

The build looks pretty good. You should ditch that IDE DVD burner for a SATA model, though:

Be sure to check for combos for all your hardware. Here's a few I found real quick:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.186290 (CPU & motherboard combo)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.186293 (CPU, motherboard, & OCZ RAM combo)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.186064 (HD & 64-bit Vista combo)

You don't need the Dark Knight version of the cooler for an AMD build. I would get this one instead:

XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233003 $36.99 - $5 MIR

Oh i didnt even notice i put an IDE one up, thanks for catching that!! and does that XIGMATEK mount with a clip for AMD? do you have to put a back plate on?

^
yeah.... NO. Yes it might, barely, outperfor the 4890 in some area's but honestly I rather have a single card. The 4890 will OC really well by itself and then beat out the (2) 4770's.

I just wish they'd come out with the upgraded coolers for the 4890's already!
