How to combine c and d drives in xp

hi every one

in my c drive though i am having data only 4gb it is showing 14gb data as my c drive was only 14gb and showing a message low disk space i do not want to format the system as i have allt he printer and net connected to it so is there any way to increasae space as i have my e drive free

So E is another hard drive or partition?

First do A PROPER CLEANING ! Download CCLEANER and let it delete things that aren't necesary and take space!
Also, it is good to uninstall things you don't use anymore, and are not necesary, from time to time, to keep your pc ok...
Why don't you move things that aren't vital, from C:\ in your E:\(if it's another hard drive or partition)?
You can also increase space by changing the pagefile, depanding on it's size, (it's usually 1,5xRAM...)
And because it's not showing the right space...do a scan with Chkdsk and a defragmentation of the drive may also be needed....

Easeus Partition Manager should be able to do this for you. Of course, any time you mess with partitions you should make backups first.
