Does it matter if I download & install the intel chipset drivers from Asus or directly from intel (intel drivers are only weeks old, asus are older). My mobo is the P6T Deluxe V2. I just need to know if they are the same or if the Asus driver is specifically needed for this mobo.

Use the correct Intel chipset driver if a newer verrsion than what ASUS has posted on the MB download page is available.
