Still unsure on ram, gpu, and cpu cooler. I will be overclocking and plan on adding a second card and addition ram if I go 4gb. Yes I do know the crossfire 4770's are the best bang for the buck, But I plan on keeping this pc for as long as I can with some upgrades over the years. So really the best bang for my buck would be going single card now and adding a second a year or so later.

I realize I had another topic, but that was about the case and I finally gave into the mesh. But only because I saw the CM 690 Club and all the things you could really do to it. Also, I forgot to add the operating system and cd drive. So don't forget that.

GPUs- Don't be so sure that getting a single powerful card now is the best option for you. DX11 will be coming out next year and will require DX11 GPU's, you might have to replace whatever GPU you buy now with a DX 11 GPU anyway. If you are set on not getting 4770's, then get a 4870 or 4890 1gb.

OS- You can either DL Windows 7 RC or Get Vista 64bit. Make sure whatever you do its 64bit

DVD Drive-They are all the same more or less, just make sure you get a SATA model. I like LG, Samsung and Pioneer for brands. Go for the cheapest one.

A good and cheap CPU cooler for that build would be the HDT-S1283, or maybe the scythe mugen 2 or Sunbeam CCTF.

Went ahead and took the HDT-S1283, Free shipping. I'm still stuck on gpu, ram, and cd drive now though.. Ram and cd drives I know little about, so more on that would be nice. But I was reading that alot of games don't utilize two cards, which is why I was swaying away from the 4770's. As for the DX11, I didn't even know about that.

Games are programmed these days to use two GPU's, the ones that don't use two GPU's are old games and will run fine on just one 4770.

Get DDR2-1066 Ram if you can afford it, otherwise DDR2 800 is fine:

I didn't add operating system because I'm not sure if Windows 7 is still free, if it has any problems, or how long it will be free for. Keep in mind I'm building this system in July and ordering the case within the next few days. So internal prices can drop and I estimate my total rigs cost can drop maybe $50-100.

Also, I didn't add a DVD Drive because I figre I can salvage the one on my current stock system and buy one at another time.
