What benefits will a 6 MB L2 cache have over a 3 MB L2 cache in a business environment where email and some limited GIS work is done?

I'm thinkin' not much.

How big are your files? How many layers?

If you generally dealing with 'average' size files just bump up your RAMs.

GIS = Geographic Information Systems

If you are dealing with really big merged DEMs with a bunch of overlays - throw everything at it yah got - LOL
