Here is my build:
Cooler Master Centurion 5
WD Black 500GB
Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H
OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W
Crucial 4GB DDR-133
Phenom II X3 720

My question is, the power supply has it's fan on top. The supply will install in the top of the case. The fan will be pressed up close to the top of the case when installed. Is this how its done? The PSU will suck what air it can get from the small room in the top of the case? Is it possible or make sense to install the PSU upside-down so that the fan is drawing air from the inside of the case?

The assumption that I'm making is that the fan is drawing air in and not pulling air out.

Thanks for listening.

The fan should be pointing down, it pulls air from inside the case and exhausts it outside the case from it's mesh back panel.

Flip the PSU over, it makes no difference to the operation of it.
