Hey guys, i play WOW hard core, only to find that my damage output sucks due to my FPS. I'm running a Nividia 8500 GT, with 2g. of ram. Cable conn. AMD 64 dual core 4200+. What can i do to get my FPS up. they are at 16 to 22 in a 25 my raid

Get an ATI 4650 or 4670

+1 to BSD. Can your motherboard support overclocking? You can probably overclock that CPU a little bit too.

I don't think its your graphics card....

Do you have performancefu mod? If so see what mods you have turned on that are taking up the most usage (QuestHelper is notorius for this). And turn them off while in 25 mans.

Also turn spell detail off or low when in 25 mans, it helps a lot. Try that before you spend all that money.

Without a doubt it is your video card. The 8500 is very weak. If you are looking for an upgrade other than the ATI ones suggested, I would opt for a GTX260. They are fairly cheap now.
