[Solved] E-Sata Read Speed Problem

I'm having a problem with e-sata drive my write speeds are perfect at 80mb/s however my read speeds are so bad anywhere from .5 mb/s to 2mb/s. I'm not sure why this is, My esata is setup as ahci in bios. the drive itself is a WD black 500gb 7200 rpm 32mb cache drive. runs fine on standard sata II port. any clue as to why the read speed is so terrible and the write speed is fine?
