Is it safe to run a resolution of 1440x900 on Toshiba 37" 720P LCD TV set? Will this cause any damage etc..

How can you do that? It only has 720 pixels vertically. How can you set it to 900?

Perhaps it will stretch the pixels? I don't know, that
s why I am asking.

Well, try it. You can't cause any damage, but if it doesn't work, the screen will go black, and if YOU DON"T TOUCH ANY BUTTONS, the display will revert itself to its previous working settings.

Also, your video card should only display the settings that are compatible with your monitor.
