Iomega hard drive not recognized

Hello,
I dropped my iomega external hard drive and now its not working well all the power lights are on but the computer is not detecting it. so i bought another USB cable i though that was the problem but it wasn't please help i need the photos in there

I'm afraid it's dead from the fall, while there places that do data recovery, it can be extremely expensive.
