Help overclocking my CPU pls

Hi first time posting here so pls be gentle

I would like to OC my cpu intel q6600. I am also planing on getting more RAM and may want to OC that as well.

I don't want to mess with water cooling just with fan I guess.

So,...What is a good amount to OC this cpu, and how do I do it?

This is the new ram I am planing on getting if that helps any: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL

you can do with temperature conditions should not be an overhead, you overclock test with Prime 95
