Trouble with symbols spreading

I have problems in a few last days with my picture on desktop. All dark regions (includding symbols) have "spreading" (black shadows to the right of region). I sow such behaivor before on old videocards. Can anyone suggest what it can be?
p.s. In Bios menu same picture so problem is hardware one.
Video is - Intel GMA 3000
Monitor is - SyncMaster 721N

well it could one of many things if it has happened b4 its probly either the monitor or u have something with the slot in which u install the g card.... ur best bet is to get a new board.... every1 needs an upgrade =)

Could you possibly take a picture of what your describing?

Thank you for answering. The problem was with monitor (i analyzed screenshot on other computer and found no problem - good think to locate problem)
