Updating a device driver

Hello,
I've downloaded a Realtek Ethernet PCIe NIC update file. It doesn't have an executable setup file, nor any INF file. There are a couple of DLL and some assorted others. How do I install this update driver?

Well, if it is a driver, then just go to Device manager, select whatever you want to update, then double click it!
Then select the Update driver buuton, then click the one that allows you to Browse the driver from a folder in your PC,
so go to the location of your saved driver folder and let it update.

Thanks me 1. Yes it's supposed to be an update driver which i downloaded driect from the Realtek site. But the downloaded file, when unzipped contains no INF files, so doesn't show up in the method you suggest. Thanks anyway. Cheers, Russ

It has to have an INF file somewhere mate. You have unzipped it? Within the unzipped file is there an .exe file you can run to install?
