I have the most up to date drivers but whenever something like the UAC pops up, rather than just switching to it, the screen actually turns itself off, then back on again, before displaying the notice. Is there a way to fix this (other than disabling the UAC)?

Specs:

Compaq Presario V3000
Vista Home Basic 32
2GB RAM
Intel 945GM Express Family Chipset (integrated)

It should only stay that way for like 1-2 seconds at most though.
