I just put together a new system:

Antec TruePower 2.0 550w
AMD Phenom II X3 720
ASUS M4A78T
Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 512 MB
Radeon 4550 (For 3rd monitor)
4 GB DDR3 RAM
120GB IDE HD
500 GB SATA HD
Pioneer DVD Burner
5 120mm Case Fans
Antec 300

Now Im just realizing that the 4850 doesnt have dual DVI ports, and Im using 3 monitors so I need one of these cards to support dual monitors. Will I be able to do this anyway with the Sapphire 4850? Should I jump to a better card in the ~$130 range?

?

You must have an old model of the 4850 then...I believe there are plenty of 4850s with 2 DVI ports nowadays.

The 4850 is one of the best cards out there. You don't need another $130 card

Will I be able to run dual monitors with this? Like I said I got the other card for a 3rd monitor, but at least one of the two cards needs to have dual monitor capability.

Yes that is a dual monitor. It has one VGA port and one DVI port. It will run two monitors.
