i have a 3 year old system with intel d915gav motherboard and i was thinking of adding a graphics card to it.
I want to get either SAPPHIRE HD 4670 512MB GDDR4 PCI-E or a XFX Radeon HD 4770 512 MB DDR5 (HD-477A-YDFC)
now i'm not sure about their compatibility with my motherboard... so if anybody could advise me on this then it would be really very helpful.

My system configuration:
CPU:- Intel Pentium 4 3.2ghz
Motherboard:- Intel D915GAV
Ram:- 2GB
PSU:- 650watts

P.S. - I have read in some other forums that 4670 is compatible with my motherboard but i couldn't find anything about 4770.

I agree, as long as you have a PCI-E x16 slot available. Power supply wattage is good, Personally, either one of these cards would be good. I don't think an PCI-E 6 pin power connectors are needed. My only concern here would be the power supply, although if you have gone this long on it. Hope that helps.

either card will do fine, it would all come down to how much money you want to spend, and which games you're going to be playing.
